Additional Information

For more information on this fabric, please email [email protected] - if you would like a call back, please include your telephone number.

Hand printing is often not completely symmetrical, this gives a less mechanical finish that we love and works really well for curtains. For blinds we can try and find a straighter finish if you let us know the order number.

Please check that you are happy with your fabric before cutting or altering it in any way. We cannot accept responsibility for the fabric once it has been cut.

How We Make It

Our Textiles

Our studio in Karur, in Southern India’s cotton weaving region, is run by master weaver Mr Ravi and his family, with whom we’ve worked for over a decade. Now in its third generation, the studio is managed by Ravi’s son Venkat, while Ravi remains involved alongside his charitable work as president of the local Lions Club. Their close-knit family plays a vital role in creating our designs, combining exceptional skill, dedication and a deep understanding of our style.

Using traditional techniques, the team hand-cuts fabrics, embroiders mostly by eye, and crafts quilts and cushions with remarkable accuracy. From dyeing yarns to weaving and freehand embroidery, every stage reflects the artistry and heritage of Indian textile craftsmanship. Ravi and Venkat have become invaluable partners, helping us develop unique designs and consistent colours while ensuring each item is beautifully handmade.
