Inspired by Susie's travels, our Red Earth Sacha Linen is an Usbek style fabric printed on heavy linen. This linen is screen printed using a half-stroke, meaning the printers squeegee is pulled over the fabric only once - this gives the fabric a wonderful vintage look and feel.
Please note: Due to print & stonewash techniques, this is a 2.7 metre panel.
Red Earth Sacha Linen hangs beautifully and is perfect for curtains and blinds.

To create this worn, vintage look the fabric is cut into lengths and literally washed with stones. This creates the mottled uneven colour we love. The occasional faded streak is acceptable and adds to the vintage finish. Selvedges may become frayed after stonewashing. Stonewashed fabric is wonderfully soft and drapes beautifully as curtains but it may have quite a bit of 'stretch' which could make it unsuitable for blinds in some circumstances.
