Lavanya is a charming, feminine chair, which is both compact & elegant. Upholstered in our Red Hartford Stripe with an ornate hand-carving and a sumptuous seat to sink into, it's a delightful bedroom or cottagey drawing room chair.

The beauty of handmade furniture is created by the slight imperfections and differences which give it character. Exact symmetry is not the aim. Machines automatically achieve this and the result is somewhat bland and characterless. Wood is a natural product and the finish and colour is never exactly even, that is the beauty of it.
